Color: Vigorous red with violet tints and profound black shades.
Aroma: Red fruits, such as plum and cherry , combined with the elegance and the sweet of the oak.
Palate: Silky, sweety and profound. Juicy finish.
Wine Advocate
The 2008 Golden Reserve Malbec spent 12 months in French oak. Mouth-filling, dense, and structured, this lengthy, succulent effort has some tannin to resolve. Give it another 2-3 years of cellaring and drink it from 2013 to 2020. It is an excellent value.

Dark, ripe and toasty, with notes of smoke and spice framing the ripe blackberry and damson plum notes that push through the finish, which lingers with hints of smoke and spice. Drink now. 22,000 cases made.

Wine Enthusiast
Opens with a blast of milk chocolate, raisin and sawdust before settling on black fruit and pepper. Shows good concentration and feel in front of prune, blackberry, licorice and burnt toast flavors. Has good pulse and vibrancy, but it's a bit choppy and oaky.

Biodynamic designation is regulated by Demeter, an international certification organization. Biodynamic agriculture is based on the view of a farm as a self-contained organism. Certified organic vineyards must meet Demeter"s additional criteria for a period of one year before earning the designation "biodynamic."
Sustainably Grown
Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
